1.DEMA Justicia

Dewan Mahasiswa Justicia is a Student Body of the Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada that functions as an executive and legislative body of Faculty of Law Universitas Gadjah Mada’s students. This institution was declared in August 2001, is actually a new face of two student organizations, namely the Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) and the Senat Mahasiswa (SM) which was officially disbanded in the period of 1999-2000.

The vision of this institution is to realize unity and brotherhood between fellow students of the Faculty of Law UGM and the community at large; explore, appreciate, develop and practice knowledge in order to increase social sensitivity and critical power of students towards any changes that exist and how to react; maturity and learning for the management of the institution in particular and students of the Faculty of Law UGM in general. To achieve this vision, the missions needed are: to become a forum for aspiration, communication, and coordination between students of the Faculty of Law UGM and with students throughout Indonesia in particular and society in general; a place to fight for the interests of students in particular and society in general, and a place for the development of students in the science of law.

2.M-55

Majestic-55 (M-55) is a nature-loving organization at the Faculty of Law UGM which was established on May 5, 1979. The word “Majestic” means “majesty” and 55 means May 5 (date of birth of M-55). In the preamble of the M-55 Articles of Association, it is stated that Majestic-55 was formed as a unifying forum and a place to realize creativity and activities in the field of nature lovers, as well as a forum to preserved nature and environment, as well as community service. Majestic-55 aims to collect, enhance and develop the sense, initiative and work of humans towards nature and the environment; as a forum to accommodate, unite and realize the creativity of all its members in the field of nature-lovers; as a forum to conserve the nature and the environment, community service, and other efforts related to the development of the younger generation.

3.SANGGAR APAKAH

The Sanggar Apakah of the Faculty of Law UGM was established on 22 August 2002, where there was a merger between the “Apakah” theater community which had existed since 1997 under the name Justicia Music Community (Justimun) which had existed since 2000. The Sanggar Apakah of the Faculty of Law UGM intended to be a place for students to learn to be collective human beings who are loyal to the principles of community that respects plurality, anti-violence, free spirited arts, and social vision (alignments with victims due to the disability of the social system). The Vision of the Sanggar Apakah Faculty of Law UGM is as a media for social reality.

4.MAHKAMAH

“Mahkamah” is the only student press institution in the Faculty of Law UGM. This institution was established by students who realized the importance of the dialectics of the existence of a press institution, on November 11, 1989. Mahkamah became a significant student body in the midst of the academic community of the Faculty of Law UGM. Mahkamah continues to develop intellectual traditions among students of the Faculty of Law UGM through reading, discussing and writing. The court will never stop fighting: “because we understand, it doesn’t take many people to change a civilization”

5.KMFH

The Muslim Family of the Faculty of Law (KMFH) UGM is an organization that stands as a form of concern from the very minimum of preaching in the UGM environment in general, and the Faculty of Law in particular. KMFH accommodates all missionary activities in FH, including the spiritual activities of FH lecturers and employees. KMFH is an inclusive missionary institution. This institution is open to anyone who is Muslim, so KMFH presents a friendly, open and family-friendly organization. This is in line with KMFH’s Vision, namely Strengthening Islamic values in the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University. While the mission they carry is: improving the quality of faith; improve the quality of Ukhuwah Islamiyah; and improving the quality of intellectual human resources

6.KMK

The Catholic Student Family (KMK) UGM Faculty of Law is a family of Catholic students within the Faculty of Law UGM. KMK has a scope of Catholic spiritual activities that accommodates all students and the Catholic academic community of the Faculty of Law UGM. KMK departs from a church that has a role as a servant of the people who later will also participate in the life of the church and society, so that the basic performance of KMK will prioritize the value of kinship as its main pillar.

7.PMK

The Christian Student Association (PMK) UGM Faculty of Law is one of the student’s spiritual institutions within the UGM Faculty of Law. PMK’s vision and mission is “high in faith, high in knowledge, and high in service”. In daily life, PMK tries to give its own color in terms of serving God. PMK is present as a joint place where you can learn about spiritual values, grow, learn, laugh, and cry with Him. In addition, there is character building for students to become adults and be ready to become law graduates who uphold the idealism of the One Godhead based on Christian souls.

8. ALSA

Law students realize that to develop legal scientific studies, potential members, improve organizational quality and establish close and harmonious relationships not only in one area but also expanding nationally, regionally and even internationally. For this reason, a container is needed so that the above objectives can be achieved. Based on these reasons, the Asian Law Students Association (ALSA) of the Faculty of Law UGM was formed. ALSA UGM Faculty of Law is a law student organization at the Asian level.
